Notice is hereby given that the Grant County Court will conduct Public Hearings on April 16, 2025 and May 7, 2025, both beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the Grant County Courthouse, County Courtroom, 201 S. Humbolt Street, Suite 280, Canyon City, Oregon on the following matter:

Public Hearing to address Ordinance 2025-02, REVISING FEES RELATED TO BUILDING CODE PROGRAM IN GRANT COUNTY. Fee updates are required in order to cover costs associated with the building program.

Persons or parties interested or concerned with this subject matter may appear in person before the Grant County Court on April 16, 2025 and May 7, 2025, beginning at 9:15 a.m. at the Grant County Courthouse, County Courtroom, 201 S. Humbolt Street, Suite 280, Canyon City, Oregon. Written comments must be received in the Planning Department Office, 201 South Humbolt Street, Suite 170, Canyon City, Oregon by 5:00 p.m. April 11, 2025 or May 2, 2025 to be included in the record of the public hearing.

Copies of the ordinance are available for public review at the Grant County Planning Department and the Grant County Court Office not less than seven (7) days prior to said hearing. The Housing Authority's hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. In addition, a Public Hearing will be held on Friday, January 26th, 2024 at 9:00 am at the Northeast Oregon Housing Authority Community Room located at 2608 May Lane, La Grande, OR 97850.

Copies of the Agency Plan will also be available online at www.neoha.org. Copies of Northeast Oregon Housing Authority revised policies are available at the Housing Authority Office. Written comments will be accepted at Northeast Oregon Housing Authority office and discussed at the Public Hearing on the above date.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners, meeting in regular session, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 9:15 am, Joseph Annex Building, 1106 K Ave., La Grande, Oregon will conduct a public hearing to review the April 22, 2024 Planning Commission record and motion to recommend approval to the Board of Commission on a Zone Amendment application submitted by Union County Planning Department staff to allow Accessory Dwelling Units through a Conditional Use review process in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone.

The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Union County Zoning, Partition & Subdivision Ordinance Section 23.06.2 and Oregon Senate Bill 644. As a property owner in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential Zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone or within 250 feet of the subject property, you are entitled to notice of this application and may submit written testimony either in support or in opposition of the proposal. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application, all information related to the proposal, and a staff report are available for review at no cost in the Planning Department office, copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities; a request for accommodations should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling (541) 963-1001.
