NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Grant County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, will be held at 201 S. Humbolt St., Ste. 280, Canyon City, OR 97820. The meeting will take place on March 18, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.

This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee, or in the alternative, may call in as explained above.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained for $17.00 on or after March 11, 2026 at the Courthouse in the County Court Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Petitioners have filed a petition for the adoption of Danny Joseph Austin-Pine in the above-entitled court. Notice is hereby given that the intent of the Petition for Adoption herein is to secure the adoption of Danny Joseph Austin-Pine by Bobby Allan Austin and Robin Kay Austin.

A motion or answer or reply must be given to the court clerk or administrator within 30 days of the date of first publication specified herein, along with the required filing fee.

You must also provide a certified true copy of the motion, answer or reply to Petitioners' attorney at 601 Washington Street, The Dalles, OR 97058.

If you fail to file a written motion, answer or reply to the Petition for Adoption within the time provided, the court, without further notice and in your absence, may take any action that is authorized by law, including but not limited to entering a General Judgment of Adoption of the child if the court determines, on the date the motion, answer or reply is required or on a future date, that your consent is not required and that the adoption is in the child's best interests.

In your motion, answer or reply, you must inform the court and the Petitioners of your telephone number or contact telephone number and your current residence, mailing, or contact address in the same state as your home.

If you file a motion, answer or reply to the Petition for Adoption, the court will schedule a hearing to address the Petition for Adoption, order you to appear personally, and may schedule other hearings related to the petition and may order you to appear personally.

You have the right to be represented by a lawyer. If you wish to be represented by a lawyer, please retain one as soon as possible to represent you in this proceeding. If you meet the state's financial guidelines, you are entitled to have a lawyer appointed for you at state expense.
