NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
UMATILLA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED of a public hearing to be held before the Umatilla County Planning Commission on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 6:30 PM in the Justice Center Media Room, 4700 NW Pioneer Place, Pendleton, OR 97801. Virtual hearing options are available by contacting the Umatilla County Planning Division at Room 104 of the Umatilla County Courthouse, 216 SE Fourth Street, Pendleton, OR, 97801 or by calling 541-278-6252, the day before the scheduled Planning Commission hearing date.
LAND DIVISION REQUEST #LD-5N-933-26: RONALD V. MCKINNIS, APPLICANT, KENNETH & JOANNE WILSON AND RANDY & KRISTEN COLLER (AGT) OWNERS. Applicant, Ronald V. McKinnis, seeks approval to replat Lots 8, 9, and 10, Block 10, of the Charles Tracts Subdivision. The proposal seeks to reconfigure five tax lots, 201, 301, 300, 400 & 403 on Assessors Map 5N 28 27DB, totaling approximately 0.82 acres, into two tax lots, Proposed Lot 1 (0.42 acres) and Proposed Lot 2 (0.39 acres). The subject properties are situated at the southeast corner of the intersection of Robnett Street and Highway 395 North in Hermiston. Located within the Charles Tracts Subdivision, the site is approximately 0.5 miles southeast of the Umatilla city limits and 1.5 miles north of Hermiston city limits. The land use standards applicable to the applicant's request are found in Umatilla County Development Code Section 152.697(C), Type III Land Divisions.

Copies of applications, documents and evidence pertaining to the hearing listed above, and all relevant criteria are available for inspection at no cost and will be duplicated at printing cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection or duplicated at least seven days before the hearing. Hearings shall be governed by Section 152.772 of the Umatilla County Development Code.
