The City of La Grande hereby issues a 90-day public notice, pursuant to ORS 223.304, with the intent to create system development charges for water, wastewater, stormwater, parks, and transportation facilities.

A draft technical report addressing the methodology and calculation of the proposed charges will be available for review on August 14, 2026 (which is at least 60 days prior to the initial public hearing on adoption), at La Grande City Hall, City Manager's office, or by contacting the City of La Grande (see contact information below).

Pursuant to Section 34 of the City Charter of the City of La Grande, Oregon, an ordinance related to proposed system development charges will be presented for its first reading by title only during a Public Hearing at the City Council's Regular Session on November 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1000 Adams Avenue, La Grande, Oregon. Public comment will be accepted during this hearing.

The Public Hearing will continue on December 2, 2026, at which time the ordinance will receive its final reading by title only and be considered for adoption. Public comment will also be accepted at this continued hearing.
