Notice is hereby given that the City of Union City Council will meet on Monday, July 28, 2026, at 6:00 pm in City Hall to consider the following applications.
MnP#26-02 REED – submitted by Deena and Jesse Reed. The application requests dividing the existing 6.98-acre parcel into three parcels of 2.48, 1.67, and 2.77 acres. The subject property is in the Residential (R-1) zone and is described as map and tax lot 04S4019CD100. The property is more commonly known as 462 Wapiti Way, Union, Oregon 97883.
Written and oral comments may be presented at the hearing or directly to City Hall or mailed to PO Box 529, Union, Oregon 97883. Written comments must be received by 5:00 pm on July 23, 2026 or submitted at the hearing. Comments must address how the application does or does not comply with the applicable criteria.
A copy of the application and all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant are available for inspection at City Hall during normal business hours at no cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the hearing. Copies will be provided upon request at reasonable cost.
Failure to raise an issue at the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision makers an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Failure of any person entitled to notice to receive notice shall not invalidate the City's action, provided the City can demonstrate notice was sent.
