SECOND STREET SIDEWALK AND CURB REPLACEMENT: 'H' TO 'K'
The City of La Grande invites competitive bids for the Second Street Sidewalk and Curb Replacement: 'H' to 'K' Project. Work includes all materials, labor, and equipment to construct sections of sidewalk, curb, driveway approaches, ADA ramps, and other miscellaneous concrete work as directed by the City. The project will consist of installing approximately 1,495 square feet (SF) of sidewalk, 1,073 lineal feet (LF) of Type C curb, 365 SF of driveway aprons, and eleven (11) standard 5' wide ADA ramps.
Sealed bids for the described projects will be received by Edie Engelmann, P.E., or their designee at the City of La Grande Public Works Department, Engineering Division, 800 'X' Avenue, La Grande, Oregon, until 10:00 a.m. local time, on Monday, June 22, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud the same day, at 10:05 a.m. The contract time for all work shall be thirty (30) calendar days and is to be completed by August 21, 2026.
The City of La Grande may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed requirements listed in the Contract Documents and may reject for good cause any and all bids upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
Copies of the Contract documents may be obtained at the City of La Grande, Public Works Department, Engineering Division, 800 'X' Avenue, or by phoning (541) 962-1333. A non-refundable payment of $25.00 is required for a physical set of documents. Electronic copies of the documents are available free of charge by request. The contractor shall provide a mailing address, phone and fax numbers, and an email address when plans are requested.
