URBAN RENEWAL ANNUAL NOTICE
The La Grande Urban Renewal Agency (Agency) has published the FY 2024/25 La Grande Urban Renewal Plan annual report. It is on file at City Hall and with the Agency. The full information is available to all interested persons. In FY 2024/25, the Agency received income of $1,491 and $816,720 for the general fund and debt fund respectively. The tax revenues were $717,135. Expenditures in FY 2024/25 were $565,235 and $249,787 for the general fund and debt fund respectively. The estimated tax revenues for FY 2025/26 are $829,000 from current and prior years taxes. The FY 2025/26budget includes $2,407,784 and $2,434,566 in revenues for the general fund and debt fund respectively and $2,407,784 and $2,434,566 in requirements for the general and debt fund respectively. The estimated impact of carrying out the urban renewal plan on the tax collections for the preceding year for all taxing districts is shown in the table below. The amount of maximum indebtedness remaining for the Plan Area is $7,430,725. The amount of maximum indebtedness expended in FY 2024/25 is $526,321.
