CLASSIFICATION COMMITTEE MEETING
Irene Jerome, Chair of the above committee, has called a meeting of said committee as follows:
TIME: June 17, 2026 at 2pm
PLACE: Oregon Department of Forestry 415 Patterson Bridge Rd John Day, OR 97845
Purpose of the meeting is to consider changes in land classifications pertaining to forest fire protection as provided by Oregon Revised Statutes Chapters 477 and 526.

The Forestland Classification Committee is a county advisory committee consisting of six citizens appointed by the county, State Forester, State Fire Marshal, and Oregon State University Extension Service Director. Responsibilities include assessing all lands within a county within an ODF protection district and assigning land classifications as directed in Chapter 629 of Oregon's Administrative Rules.
