REQUEST FOR PROJECTS
STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT
FORMULA FUND (STIF)
SYSTEM SUSTAINABILITY RESERVE

Public Transportation Service Providers (PTSP's) and eligible sub-recipients are hereby notified that Umatilla County is currently accepting applications for requests to access funds from the Umatilla County STIF Formula System Sustainability Reserve Funds available. These funds are only available for existing 25-27 STIF Plan projects.

STIF SYSTEM SUSTAINABILITY RESERVE
Interested Public Transportation Service Providers and sub-recipients who are eligible, shall complete the Umatilla County STIF System Sustainability Application that can be found at the following link: https://umatillacounty.gov/departments/community-development/planning-division/transit

Completed applications must be submitted to Charlet Hotchkiss, Assistant Umatilla County Transit Coordinator. Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Applications will be reviewed and ranked by the Umatilla County Transportation Advisory Committee (UCTAC) in accordance with the Bylaws and Oregon Administrative Rules. The UCTAC will make a recommendation to the Umatilla County Board of Commissioners, who will determine the final selection of projects and funding amounts.
