LAND USE HEARING
The City of Irrigon Planning Commission is continuing the following hearing at 6:00 p.m., February 5, 2026, at City Hall located at 500 NE Main Avenue, Irrigon, Oregon. Information to join by Zoom will be available on the City's website.
Irrigon Development Code (IDC) Text Amendment: Applicant: Land Wise LLC and Olin Homes, LLC. Request is to amend the text of the IDC by reducing the minimum lot size, lot frontage, setback requirements, and residential dwelling size. The proposed amendments will affect definitions, the Residential District, Chapter 3 Design Standards, Chapter 4 Review Procedures, Chapter 4 Site Review, and Chapter 4 Conditional Use Permits. The request shall be completed as a Type IV Legislative Decision Process under the IDC with the final public hearing before the City Council. Criteria for approval are found in Chapter 4 Article F Land Use District Map and Text Amendments.
Opportunity to voice support or opposition to the above proposal or ask questions will be provided. Failure to raise an issue in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision-maker an opportunity to respond to the issue, precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on those issues.
