NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hermiston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 10, 2025, at or after 7:00 PM at City Hall, 180 NE 2nd St Hermiston, Oregon. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request from Steve Richards of EO Development, LLC, for a variance from Section 157.179 of the Hermiston Code of Ordinances which requires the area for standing and maneuvering of vehicles to be a hard surface. The applicant requests approval to allow RV storage on a gravel surface. The property is described as 4N2802CD Tax Lot 500 and is located at 579 E Elm Ave. The property is owned by Hermiston Mini Storage LLC and is zoned Neighborhood Commercial Overlay (NCO). All interested persons are encouraged to attend. Questions, comments, or correspondence should be addressed to the City of Hermiston Planning Department, 180 NE 2nd St, Hermiston, OR 97838.
