The City Council of the City of Umatilla, Oregon, will be considering a first reading of the following proposed ordinance during their regularly scheduled Council meeting on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Umatilla City Hall Council Chambers. The second reading will be held on September 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Umatilla City Hall Council Chambers.

ORDINANCE NO. 879. AN ORDINANCE OF THE UMATILLA CITY COUNCIL DECLARING THAT BLIGHTED AREAS EXIST WITHIN THE CITY, ESTABLISHING THE NEED FOR AN URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY IN THE CITY, AND ELECTING A METHOD FOR EXERCISING THE POWER OF AN URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY WITHIN THE CITY. CREATING TITLE 2 CHAPTER 8 OF THE UMATILLA MUNICIPAL CODE.
