Fire Station #2 Seismic Rehabilitation Project
Proposals Due 2:00 PM, July 2, 2025
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The City of Pendleton ("the Owner") Requests Proposals from experienced Construction Manager/General Contractors (CM/GC) for the construction of Pendleton Fire Station 2 Seismic Rehabilitation Project. Proposers shall provide one (1) electronic copy of their proposal and email it to Tony Pierotti, Fire Chief, at anthony.pierotti@pendletonor.gov. Proposal emails shall be clearly marked: "City of Pendleton – RFP Construction Manager/General Contractor for Fire Station 2". Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 PM (PST) on July 2, 2025, after which time no further Proposals will be received. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on June 23, 2025, at 11:30 AM (PST) at Pendleton Fire Station 2, located at 1200 Southgate, Pendleton, OR 97801.
Project Scope of Work: The project consists of seismic strengthening of Pendleton Fire Station 2 at 1200 Southgate, Pendleton, OR 97801. The fire station is an approximately 3,400-square-foot, two-story building containing a large single-story apparatus bay adjoining a two-story living area with offices, meeting rooms, and sleeping areas. The building was originally constructed in 1971 and consists of under-reinforced concrete masonry units (CMU) walls and steel frames with flexible diaphragms. A copy of the conceptual seismic strengthening scheme submitted as part of the Oregon SRGP application will be distributed at the mandatory onsite Pre-Proposal Conference per Section 3.0 of the RFP. The complete Request for Proposal may be reviewed and obtained by emailing Keri Standley at keri.standley@pendletonor.gov; on the City's website: www.pendletonor.gov or the OregonBuys website: www.oregonbuys.gov. The CM/GC firms responding to this RFP will be evaluated based upon company overview, firm experience, similar project history, and other criteria identified in this RFP. This solicitation does not obligate the Owner to pay any costs incurred in preparation of Proposals. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Proposal that is not in compliance with all prescribed requirements. For good cause, the Owner may reject any or all Proposals upon a written finding that it is in the public interest to do so. ANY PROTEST OR REQUEST FOR CHANGE MUST BE DELIVERED IN WRITING TO TONY PIEROTTI, FIRE CHIEF, AT 1455 SE COURT AVE., PENDLETON, OR 97801 ON OR BEFORE SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS.
