MORROW COUNTY LAND USE HEARING

THE MORROW COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION will hold the following hearings of public interest on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Morrow County Government Center located at 215 NE Main Ave, Irrigon, OR 97844. For information on meeting participation via Zoom please visit the Planning Department website

Conditional Use Permit CUP-N-388-25: Mario & Veronica Pacheco, Applicant, and Owner
Conditional Use Permit to allow the storage and operation of a commercial trucking business on a residential property. The property is described as Tax Lot 1800 of Assessor's Map 4N25E14. The subject parcel is zoned Farm Residential (FR) and is located outside the City of Boardman's urban growth boundary (UGB). Criteria for approval include Morrow County Zoning Ordinance (MCZO) Article 3 section 3.041, Farm Residential FR2, and Article 6 section 6.050. G, Standards Governing Conditional Uses, Home Occupations.

G, Standards Governing Conditional Uses, Home Occupations.

The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Union County Zoning, Partition & Subdivision Ordinance Section 23.06.2 and Oregon Senate Bill 644. As a property owner in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential Zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone or within 250 feet of the subject property, you are entitled to notice of this application and may submit written testimony either in support or in opposition of the proposal. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application, all information related to the proposal, and a staff report are available for review at no cost in the Planning Department office, copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities; a request for accommodations should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling (541) 963-1001.
