MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Morrow County Broadband Network Consortium, Morrow County, Oregon, to discuss the budget for fiscal year July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, will take place Tuesday, May 27, 5:00 pm at the SAGE Center Conference Room, 101 Olson Rd NE, Boardman, OR 97818. The meeting may be joined online using Zoom Meeting ID: 238 527 1637, Passcode: XA5ijH; or by phone at: +1 (253) 215-8782, Meeting ID: 238 527 1637, Passcode: 478802. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comments from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. A copy of the budget document may be obtained on or after May 6 by contacting Nick Green, Managing Director, via email at nick@catalyst.win or by phone at (541) 620-2809. Any person may appear at the meeting to discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners, meeting in regular session, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 9:15 am, Joseph Annex Building, 1106 K Ave., La Grande, Oregon will conduct a public hearing to review the April 22, 2024 Planning Commission record and motion to recommend approval to the Board of Commission on a Zone Amendment application submitted by Union County Planning Department staff to allow Accessory Dwelling Units through a Conditional Use review process in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone.

The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Union County Zoning, Partition & Subdivision Ordinance Section 23.06.2 and Oregon Senate Bill 644. As a property owner in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential Zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone or within 250 feet of the subject property, you are entitled to notice of this application and may submit written testimony either in support or in opposition of the proposal. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application, all information related to the proposal, and a staff report are available for review at no cost in the Planning Department office, copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities; a request for accommodations should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling (541) 963-1001.
