NOTICE OF BUDGET
COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Port of Umatilla, Umatilla County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, will be held at Port of Umatilla, 500 Willamette Ave., Umatilla, Oregon. The meeting will take place on May 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 1, 2025 at Port of Umatilla, 500 Willamette Ave., Umatilla, Oregon, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Union County Board of Commissioners, meeting in regular session, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 9:15 am, Joseph Annex Building, 1106 K Ave., La Grande, Oregon will conduct a public hearing to review the April 22, 2024 Planning Commission record and motion to recommend approval to the Board of Commission on a Zone Amendment application submitted by Union County Planning Department staff to allow Accessory Dwelling Units through a Conditional Use review process in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone.

The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Union County Zoning, Partition & Subdivision Ordinance Section 23.06.2 and Oregon Senate Bill 644. As a property owner in the R-1 Rural Center Zone, R-2 Rural Residential Zone, R-3 Farm Residential Zone and R-4 Forest Residential Zone or within 250 feet of the subject property, you are entitled to notice of this application and may submit written testimony either in support or in opposition of the proposal. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application, all information related to the proposal, and a staff report are available for review at no cost in the Planning Department office, copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities; a request for accommodations should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling (541) 963-1001.
