YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED of Public Hearings to be held before the Umatilla County Planning Commission on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 6:30 PM in the Justice Center Media Room, 4700 NW Pioneer Place, Pendleton, OR. A subsequent Public Hearing before the Board of County Commissioners is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2024 at 9:00 AM in Room 130 of the Umatilla County Courthouse 216 SE Fourth Street, Pendleton, OR. Virtual hearing options are available by contacting the Umatilla County Community Development Department at Room 104 of the Umatilla County Courthouse, 216 SE Fourth Street, Pendleton, OR, 97801 or by calling 541-278-6252, the day before the scheduled hearing date.
TEXT AMENDMENT #T-100-25, AMENDMENT OF UMATILLA COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CODE, SECTION 152.250 DIMENSIONAL AND DESIGN STANDARDS. Umatilla County Community Development Department proposes changes to the Umatilla County Development Code (UCDC) Section 152.250, which would modify the dimensional and design standards required for a Design Review in the Retail Service Commercial (RSC) and Light Industrial (LI) zones for projects located adjacent to the Highway 395 North Corridor. The criteria of approval for amendments are found in Umatilla County Development Code 152.750-152.755.

A complete hearing packet will also be posted on the county website at www.umatillacounty.gov. Hearings are governed by Section 152.772 of the UCDC.
Opportunity to voice support or opposition to the above proposal, or to ask questions, will be provided. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, either in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to that issue, precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
