NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Baker County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Baker County Courthouse, 1995 Third Street, Baker City, Oregon, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 5PM, both in person and via teleconference, to consider two Conditional Use Permit requests to establish one non-farm dwelling each on two separate properties, Tax Lots 300 and 400 of Map 09s40e34, SE of Baker City, in the EFU Zone. These requests will be reviewed using applicable criteria listed in BCZO Sections 210.04, 310.05, 340.02, 410.04.C and 410.05, Chapters 320 and 330 and Oregon Revised Statute 215.284, as well as the Baker County Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The public is invited to attend this hearing and to submit oral or written testimony. If participating via Zoom, call 1-877-853-5247, enter Meeting ID: 682 612 1078 and Passcode: 967061 when prompted. Failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to allow the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) based on that issue. A copy of the applications, documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant, and the applicable criteria are available for inspection. The staff report the Planning Commission will use in its decision-making process will be available at the Planning Department on June 25, 2025. A digital copy of the documents can be emailed to you at no cost, or a hard copy can be provided for a reasonable cost.
